Samgyeopsal-gui (삼겹살구이) Introducing the 'three-layer meat'

I really love to watch K- dramas and I was curious about the food grilling they do and I discovered Samgyeopsal and then became an immediate fan. Samgyeopsal is essentially pork belly meat, beef, or chicken meat that is cooked on a grill and is initially from Korea. It was one of the most fascinating tendencies in South Korean way of life during the Asian Financial Crisis of 1997 that gave the pork stomach the highlight in South Korean barbeque. Pork belly is a less expensive choice for beef and thus, South Koreans ate more pork stomach joints than red meat fish fry restaurants.

Fast forward to the present time, now everyone knows Samgyeopsal, thanks to K-Dramas, signboard of Korean Restaurants, YouTube Mukbang it now became famous in the Philippines and joined the craze. Samgyeopsal joints in the country are popping up like mushrooms. Businessman builds restaurants and purchases for around P300 to P500, one can experience a limitless pork or meat assortment that you cook dinner via the grill on your table.

Samgyeopsal some spelled it as samgyupsal or samgyeobsal in restaurants, it is a Korean dish of grilled pork that is usually eaten for dinner. However, we Filipinos are known to have lunch as the most important meal of the day, and samgyeopsal is now eaten for lunch or dinner. Its name literally means "three-layer meat", which means the visible layers in the meat. Samgyeopsal is a very popular dish in Korea, and actually where it comes from. There are also a lot of aspect side dishes that waiters place on your desk like sweet potatoes, kimchi, japchae, fish cakes, cheese, lettuce, red chili paste, and many more.
