The world is complex. What we already know was merely just the tip of an iceberg. Our world in itself is already an enigma, hence thousands of mysteries were still left unsolved. Mysteries that are hard to fathom by the human minds, perhaps just out from our human capacities. One of the mysteries I'm about to share with you was the mystery of an ancient door. A door that can never be opened.
In the state of Kerala Southern India lies an ancient door that's been forbidden to open. Inside the temple of Sree Padmanabhaswamy in Trivandrum is the Holy Shrine of Maha Vishnu who's known to be the most powerful Hindu deity.
The temple has six chambers that people believed to contain ancient treasures. The golden temple was built in the 16th century and was renovated several years later by the Kings of Travancore, one of India's wealthiest families. According to local myths, the Kings of Travancore had hidden their extensive wealth within the stone walls and inside the vault chambers in the temple.
Thus, in 2011, the supreme court demanded a routine audit of the temple's coffer, but the local religious leaders warned that opening the vaults would anger the powerful deity Maha Vishnu, whereas the deity might send unfortunate events and calamities as punishment.

Legend has it that the last time someone tried to open the vault, a sudden murrain of cobras broke out from the vault. But regardless of all death threats and protests, Lawyer TP Sundarajan was granted permission to open the chambers. Eventually, together with his team, he managed to open 5 out of the 6 vaults. They were astonished by what they discovered. Inside the vaults were an astounding trove of crowns, weapons, bags of diamonds, rubies, gold statues, vessels made of gold, golden elephants, gold coins, and golden coconuts containing jewels which in total value were the staggering amount of one trillion US dollars. However, one vault remained untouched, the vault named Bharatakkon Kallara.
The vault has two serpent figures facing each other sculpted on the door, which everyone believed indicates danger. Temple priests and Vedic scholars insisted that opening the door would bring misfortunes and catastrophic events to everyone. They say that the only way to safely open the vault is to have a priest perform a sacred rite called Garuda Mantra, but no one alive knows how to perform the rite. Since Lawyer TP Sundarajan mysteriously died, no one in the world has dared to open the last vault.
Now, if given a chance to own the treasure inside that chamber, would you dare open the last vault? If I were asked, my response would be "No Thanks". Life is fleeting anyway, so why would you risk your so little life on something that values nothing when you die? Hence, think again.
